LateresAbout Lateres
Our Story
Lateres was founded over 30 years ago by Aleksandr Sr., establishing a strong reputation for quality and customer satisfaction in the Blackburn with Darwen area.
At Lateres, we believe in building more than just structures - we build relationships with our clients, understanding their needs and turning their visions into reality. Our name, Lateres, means "bricks" in Latin, symbolizing the strong foundation we provide for every project and client relationship.
Aleksandr Sr.
Aleksandr Sr.'s journey in construction began at a young age in Latvia, where he successfully built and ran two thriving construction companies over more than two decades. After migrating to the UK, he re-established himself in Blackburn with Darwen, laying the foundation for Lateres and building the reputation for quality and reliability the business runs on today. He remains hands-on with every project, from the first quote through to final walkthrough, and is one of the two direct points of contact clients deal with throughout their build.
Aleksandr Jr.
Aleksandr Jr. joined the family business bringing expertise in electrical work and a focus on the newer side of construction: RGB lighting, smart home controls, integrated security systems, and other bespoke technology built into a renovation rather than added on afterwards. This side of the business has become popular enough that bookings often run months in advance. Like his father, he works directly with clients throughout their project rather than handing off to a separate account manager.
